The 2012 Festival of the Moving Body will be held March 16 and 17, 2012 at Stony Brook Universityʼs Charles B. Wang Center.
Day 1: On Friday, March 16, we will host a Summit of invited-only experts, modeled after TED Talks. Our goal is to listen to one another in order to construct unknown territories for educating a new generation of healthy, creative, productive and imaginative citizens.
Day 2: On Saturday, March 17, the Festival of the Moving Body will be open to the public. Through the presentations of our Summit experts, the festival will examine the interdisciplinary nature of dance, movement and somatics.
