Testimonials

“Sitting down with Jen for a stress reduction session illuminated me to the big picture regarding my stress. She was extremely focused and a superb listener, giving fantastic feedback and actionable steps to deal with the stress issues that most people experience daily. I left the session energized and excited about breaking out of my daily stress routine.”

“Jennifer has a deep and profoundly helpful grasp of what stress is doing to us, and how we can stop the cycle. She’s a gifted healer, a great communicator, and she brings keen intelligence and a sharp sense of ironic wit to her work. If you want to relax about getting more relaxed, Jen is the coach for you.”
-Jezra Kaye, Founder of Speaking with Power and Ease

“I can’t thank you enough for tonight’s talk. In my almost ten years in the NYU Tisch Dance Department, I have categorically never heard such an open discussion with the students about dance, stress, and health.”
-Sydney Skybetter, skybetter and associates, skybetter.org

“In her opening comments, [Jennifer] mentioned how she wasn’t going to talk about how to change your lifestyle to reduce stress. She also mentioned she wasn’t going to talk about [turning off technology]. Both are common things most people think about when you talk about reducing stress. After those two comments, I thought – well, what is there to talk about and then she started. I was truly amazed and really would like to listen again because I never heard anything quite like that before…   A lot of what she shared was very simple, but in our over complex and over complicated worlds, we often over look the simple stuff. And so often it is the simple stuff that is exactly what we need.”

“Joyful Heart runs a non-traditional teen empowerment program for ages 11 – 17. Jen came to work with a Girl Scout group this summer at camp. Within five minutes she had them connecting to their bodies and each other in a whole new way. She helps people access their inner strengths and makes it fun at the same time!”

For the past two years, I have invited Jen Edwards to speak to my students and fellow colleagues at the high school were I teach. From facilitating dialogue with students about the importance of holistic sustainability and compassion to sharing with faculty the critical need to process stories and emotions with students for real transformation and change, Jen enters each conversation extending her hand of peace and patience. Her work is important for all of us who seek centeredness as we toil daily for social justice and equity.
